About
Abigail has been practicing yoga for two decades and teaching yoga since 2009. Abigail also has a Masters Degree in the study of ancient religious texts along with a Masters of Divinity, and she has taught many college and graduate level classes. Throughout her teaching career, Abigail has consistently turned to yoga for her physical, mental, and spiritual health. As a long distance runner, Abigail also has extensive experience with the cross-training benefits of yoga, and when she needed hip surgery, yoga was pivotal in her recovery.
Abigail’s style of yoga is fondly referred to by her students as “Abigailian Yoga”, a unique blend of yogic styles. Inspired by the fluidity of Ashtanga Vinyasa as well as the anatomical precision of Iyengar yoga, Abigail teaches Vinyasa (flow) classes in which she pays careful attention to alignment, breath, and core strengthening. Abigail’s students benefit from her knowledge of yogic philosophy and human anatomy, as well as her sense of humor and personalized approach in the classroom. Take a class with Abigail and experience the profound benefits of yoga on your mind, body, and spirit!
